2nd EFEF JIP WORKSHOP
The 2nd Workshop of EFEF JIP was carried out in Pusan, Korea between 20th and 24th April 2009. The subject of the workshop was the Fire Engineering of FPSO.
The topics discussed included:
- modelling techniques and principles
- assessment of fire loads
- definition of structural loads
- the use of fire simulations for structural analysis
The participants had hand-on training in fire modelling on FPSO topside with the use of KFX software.
The project participants discussed the status of the project and the scope for further work.
