1st EFEF JIP WORKSHOP
The 1st Workshop of EFEF JIP was held in Asker, Norway between 6th and 10th of October 2008. The workshop was dedicated to the Explosion Engineering of FPSO.
The topics discussed during the workshop concerned mainly:
- modelling techniques and principles
- assessment of gas explosion loads
- definition of structural loads
- use of gas explosion simulations for structural analysis
Eleven participants, Nowatec representatives and partners, attended the seminars. Furthermore, special guests from Gexcon and Aibel presented their approach to the explosion problem.
